HPEC Performance Competitions & Awards

Members are eligible to compete in the HPEC performance awards scheme
which is run annually to encourage the use of the Highland in all spheres. As well as a points competition for those who compete in club competitions (The Seamas Mor), achievements are also celebrated in everything from showing, jumping, driving, Western, TREC and dressage plus everything else in between. Whatever your discipline if you ride, breed or show inhand a Highland or partbred you may apply for the relevant card, record your results over the season and compete for the glory of topping the points list. For the non-competitive there is also a Happy Hacker award, graded bronze, silver and gold depending on the hours spent in the saddle!

The results of these are celebrated at the awards ceremony which is held in November after the AGM and there are some beautiful rosettes and trophies up for grabs!
